“Dogs bring so much joy to our lives, whether as our friends and companions or by contributing to our wellbeing such as guide, security and sniffer dogs. In return, it is our responsibility to ensure their health and welfare. From scientific research into their hereditary diseases, to the wellbeing and recovery of neglected dogs, we’re here to make a difference for all dogs."

Sir John Spurling KCVO OBE, Vice President, The Kennel Club Charitable Trust

Support

We are so grateful for any support that people are able to give and support comes in many forms. If you want to get behind this movement the best way is by sharing posts, getting involved in events and generally talking about GOLPP.

GOLPP isn’t well known, therefore there aren’t many charities that are dedicated to this disease. There are however awareness organisations that are driving the awareness; All About GOLPP and GOLPP Pawsitively Fit Cainine Rehabilitation & Wellness.

Please use your own dogs or Ash’s Story as a platform to grow the community. However, if you are wanting to donate to the cause we are directing all donations to The Kennel Club Charitable Trust (KCCT), please reference GOLPP Awareness for an increased impact.

KCCT is a UK charity that supports the health and welfare of dogs by funding scientific research, health initiatives and organisations working to improve dogs’ lives. See the link below.
